This honey whiskey peach iced tea, via Rock Paper Feather, seems to beg for a big ol’ slab of peach pie. If you don’t drink, this easily becomes a non-alcoholic option with the subtraction of whiskey and peach schnapps.
Peach simple syrup
- 2 peaches, peeled and sliced
- Equal parts water and sugar (1 cup each)
Combine equal parts water and sugar (1 cup each) in a pot, with the peach slices. Bring to a boil, stirring. The sugar should dissolve. Remove from the stove, and allow the syrup to cool while the peaches soak in.
Peach iced tea
Steep some black tea. First boil the water, so the flavours will be released, then combine with ice cold. Per glass of iced tea, add in 1–3 tbsp. of peach simple syrup.
Honey whiskey peach iced tea
Make your simple syrup and peach iced tea. Add in a shot of honey whiskey and peach schnapps. Top with some mint and and peach slices.
